Date of the meetings

The consultation may take place at a meeting convened and chaired by the Commission, held not earlier than 14 days (a shorter period can be set in the absence of an objection by any Member State) after dispatch of the notice convening it, together with: – a summary of the case, – an indication of the most important documents and – a preliminary draft decision.

In respect of decisions pursuant to Article 8, the meeting may be held seven days after the dispatch of the operative part of a draft decision.
