R & D agreement in the European Union Law

Concept of R & D agreement provided by the “Glossary of terms used in EU competition policy” (Antitrust and control of concentrations, published in 2002): Agreement between firms to jointly undertake research and develop-ment (R & D) activities, in order to pool know-how and to share the costs and risks of inventing new products.
