If the case concerns a non-EEA-country, the case-team should check if there is an obligation to inform the third country competition authority about the fact that an SO has been notified to a company in its jurisdiction (see guide on “Notification Obligations”). In case of doubt, the Unit for International Relations within Directorate A will provide assistance.

When there is an obligation to notify, inform the Unit for International Relations, fill-in the template and send it to their functional mailbox. The Unit for International Relations will take care of the notification to the competition authorities in third countries.
